Tinned Fruit Jam

 

 

 

2 lbs Prepared Fruit

3 lbs Sugar

1 Bottle Certo

 

 

 

1.         To prepare fruit, drain syrup from tinned fruit or any desired

combination of fruits.

 

 

2.         Crush well.

 

 

3.         Measure sugar and prepared fruit into a preserving pan, mix well and

heat slowly, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.

 

 

4.         Bring to a full rolling boil and boil rapidly for 1 minute.

 

 

5.         Remove from the heat and stir in the Certo.

 

 

6.         Skim, pot and cover in the usual way.
