Raspberry, Loganberry or Tayberry Jam

 

 

 

4 lbs Fruit

5 ½ lbs Sugar

1 Bottle Certo

 

 

 

 

1.         Crush the berries and place in a pan with the sugar.

 

 

2.         Heat gently, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.

 

 

3.         Bring quickly to a full rolling boil and boil rapidly for 2 minutes, stirring 

occasionally.

 

 

4.         Remove from the heat and stir in the Certo.  Skim if necessary.

 

 

5.         Allow to cool to prevent the fruit from floating.  Pot and cover in the

usual way.
