No Cook Strawberry Jam

 

 

 

1 ½ lb. Fresh Strawberries

2 lb. Castor Sugar

½ bottle Certo

2 tablespoons Lemon Juice

 

 

 

1.         Crush the strawberries in a large bowl with a wooden spoon.

 

 

2.         Stir in the sugar and leave to stand in a warm kitchen for 1 hour,

stirring frequently.

 

 

3.         Add Certo and stir well.

 

 

4.         Add the lemon juice and continue to stir for 2 minutes.

 

 

5.         Transfer to a small, clean, dry freezer pots and cover with foil as a

seal.  Leave to stand in a warm place for 48 hours and then freeze.

 

 

6.         To use, thaw in a refrigerator.  Eat within 3 weeks of removal from the

freezer.
