Microwave Raspberry Jam

 

 

 

Makes 2 lbs - 900g using frozen raspberries

 

1 lb packet Frozen Raspberries

1 lb Sugar

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

3 fl oz Certo

 

 

 

1.         Put the frozen raspberries in a large bowl.  Cover and cook on FULL

POWER for 8 minutes, or until just beginning to boil.  Stir occasionally.

 

 

2.         Add the sugar and lemon juice, mix well.

 

 

3.         Cook on FULL POWER for 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.

 

 

4.         Stir in Certo and allow to cool slightly.

 

 

5.         Pot and cover in the usual way.

 

 

 

N.B.     Times will vary according tot he power of the microwave oven used.  We used a 700 watt output Microwave oven.  Increase or decrease the times slightly to suit your model.
