Microwave Apple Jelly

 

 

 

 

Makes about 2 ½ lbs

 

 

16 fl oz Unsweetened Apple Juice

1 ¾ lb Sugar

5 tbsp Certo

Few drops Green Food Colouring (Optional)

 

 

 

 

1.         Put the apple juice and sugar in a large bowl.  Mix well.  Cover and

cook on FULL POWER for 12-14 minutes, stirring after 6 minutes.

 

 

 

2.         Stir in the pectin.  Return to the boil and continue boiling for 1 minute. 

Colour with green food colouring if liked.

 

 

 

3.         Pot and cover in the usual way.
