Blackcurrant Freezer Jam

 

 

 

1 ¼ lbs Blackcurrants

2 lbs Caster Sugar

2 tbsp Lemon Juice

½ Bottle Certo

 

 

 

1.         Crush the blackcurrants and put in a bowl with the sugar and lemon

juice, stir thoroughly.

 

 

 

2.         Allow to stand in a warm place until the sugar has thoroughly

dissolved.

 

 

 

3.         Add Certo and stir for 2 minutes.  Leave for 24 hours.

 

 

 

4.         Ladle into small containers, cover securely, label and put to freeze.
