Banana and Pineapple Jam

 

 

 

5 Bananas

1 ¼ lbs Tinned Crushed Pineapples

3 ¼ lbs Sugar

1 Bottle Certo

 

 

 

 

 

1.         Use only fully ripe bananas.  Crush them to a fine pulp and add

crushed pineapples.

 

 

2.         Measure sugar and 2 lbs prepared fruit into a large preserving pan,

mix well, and bring to a full rolling boil over the hottest heat.

 

 

3.         Stir constantly before and while boiling.  Boil hard for 1 minute.

 

 

4.         Remove from the heat and stir in the Certo.

 

 

5.         Skim, pot and cover in the usual way.
