Certo is a long established product, first created by General Foods (USA) in 1929. It is today well known throughout the western world as the leading pectin for use in home jam making. The Certo product is made only from apples and in accordance with the proven specification originally developed by General Foods (USA).

Following various changes in ownership the UK and Eire brand rights are now owned by Certo Ltd. UK. 

The management of Certo Ltd. UK have considerable experience with the global pectin industry, through which they are able to ensure that Certo maintains it's position as the premium product for home jam making, and extensively develop the brand into new areas.

Certo Ltd. UK is based in Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire. The raw product is supplied by the worlds leading producer of apple based pectin's, with bottling, packaging, marketing etc all taking place within the UK.

Distribution within the UK is by AB World Foods, who are leading suppliers of speciality foods  to the retail industry. Other products within the AB World Foods portfolio include "Blue Dragon" and "Tabasco Sauce".
